| Specific Duties The candidate shall cover all aspects of revenue recognition, balance sheet account reconciliations and analysis, overhead cost control, period/quarter/year-end closing, financial reporting, time charging and Accounts Receivable analysis. The Accountant hired for this position will interface with Management, Contracts, Human Resources and Operation staff. The Accountant will support internal & external financial audits. The projects in this operation include FFP products, T&M, Cost Plus, with government and commercial customers. This position will be responsible for ensuring compliance with GAAP and accounting policies and procedures, internal and external audit findings, process improvements, and financial analysis. The candidate needs to be experienced with accounting concepts and procedures including general ledger cost accounting. The candidate will be responsible for preparing and negotiating non-disclosure and teaming agreements, reviewing solicitations, identifying and mitigating contract risks, and preparing proposal documents. They will provide cradle-to-grave contract administration for various CPFF, CPIF, FFP, and T&M contracts in accordance with FAR, DFARS, various agency supplements and VCI requirements. This will include reviewing and submitting cost and performance reports, and invoices. Regular interface with Government and commercial customers is anticipated. They must have strong experience developing pricing data to include indirect cost pool allocation. Experience with Service Contract Act (SCA) contracts are a plus. Required Skills:
