ENGINEER II
Specific Duties
The Engineer II will provide engineering/scientific support on systems, system elements, interfacing systems,
components, devices and/or processes for developmental and operational weapon system programs; must
possess in-depth technical and theoretical knowledge; be capable of working as a team member to solve
engineering issues; be capable of implementing the engineering “V” across the program acquisition life cycle;
must work as a member of a team and assist with solving complex issues; must have specialized related
knowledge;

Experience  Required
  • Bachelors Degree plus 2 years of experience
  • Experience with MDA (in order of preference): Training, Exercises, Performance Assessment, and
    Ground Test Specifically;
  • Requirements development and tracking
  • Test/Event Planning and Conduct
  • Test/Event Analysis

Skills Required
  • DOORS, Rhapsody, System Architect, ClearCase, and ClearQuest software
  • CMMI, Model Based Systems Engineering, Model Based Design, and Agile Software processes and
    procedures

PROPOSAL WRITER
The proposal writer will plan and write proposal responses; develop and implement win strategies; lead,
coordinate, and facilitate proposal strategy kickoff meetings; interview technical staff to write and coordinate
resumes, project profiles, and technical sections; edit, proofread, and organize large volumes of proposal
data; and organize and manage quality review and production.

Specific Duties
  • Analyzes requests for proposals (RFPs) and requests for quotes (RFQs), sources sought notices, and
    requests for information (RFIs) and outlines and organizes proposal/submittal to be responsive to client’
    s requirements, including content, format, forms, and other information.
  • Leads kickoff meetings with project manager and other technical/business development personnel,
    prepares proposal preparation schedule, and makes writing assignments.
  • Compiles materials for proposals and other submittals, ensuring that client’s requirements are fully met.
    This involves conducting search for appropriate materials, such as related project descriptions and
    resumes of project personnel.
  • Participates with project managers in the selection and recommendation of appropriate projects and
    personnel to be included in proposal, according to the RFP/RFQ.
  • Proofreads and edits proposal text written by project manager and other authors for proper grammar,
    spelling, comprehension, and style. Also proofreads and edits existing project summaries and resumes
    of project personnel, and other supporting materials.
  • Coordinates with graphic designers to ensure that any required graphic arts materials, such as covers,
    layout sheets, photographs, organization charts, etc., are produced to specifications and are ready to
    be included in the submittal. Reviews and proofreads these materials.
  • Follows through with production of submittals, including printing, collating, binding, and packaging.
  • Supports maintenance of proposal database by researching and writing resumes, project descriptions,
    and other proposal text.

Requirements
  • Extensive understanding of FAR and DCAA regulations and the federal government’s acquisition
    processes
  • Undergraduate degree in English, journalism, marketing, procurement or a related field.
  • 1-5 years proposal writing and coordination experience, with an emphasis on government proposal
    writing and/or contracting.
  • Excellent researching, reading, and analytical thinking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to lead a team through project execution.
  • Extra work hours may be required to meet project deadlines.

Accountant/Contract Support
Specific Duties

The candidate shall cover all aspects of revenue recognition, balance sheet account reconciliations and
analysis, overhead cost control, period/quarter/year-end closing, financial reporting, time charging and
Accounts Receivable analysis. The Accountant hired for this position will interface with Management,
Contracts, Human Resources and Operation staff. The Accountant will support internal & external financial
audits. The projects in this operation include FFP products, T&M, Cost Plus, with government and commercial
customers. This position will be responsible for ensuring compliance with GAAP and accounting policies and
procedures, internal and external audit findings, process improvements, and financial analysis. The
candidate needs to be experienced with accounting concepts and procedures including general ledger cost
accounting.

The candidate will be responsible for preparing and negotiating non-disclosure and teaming agreements,
reviewing solicitations, identifying and mitigating contract risks, and preparing proposal documents. They will
provide cradle-to-grave contract administration for various CPFF, CPIF, FFP, and T&M contracts in
accordance with FAR, DFARS, various agency supplements and VCI requirements. This will include reviewing
and submitting cost and performance reports, and invoices. Regular interface with Government and
commercial customers is anticipated. They must have strong experience developing pricing data to include
indirect cost pool allocation. Experience with Service Contract Act (SCA) contracts are a plus.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting (or related field) and four or more years of
    related experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently while maintaining a strong
    relationship with team members, peers, and management.
  • Must have a thorough understanding of government accounting and federal government contracting
    issues.
  • Extensive knowledge of FAR and organizational conflicts of interest, and experience working with
    federal contracts

Desired Skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office software; particularly with Excel and Work
  • Experience with Quickbooks is preferred
  • Must be flexible in response to the dynamic needs of the business.

Pre-Mission Test Manager
Specific Duties

The Pre-Mission Testing Manager must be an industry expert with depth and breadth of knowledge capable
of providing advisor and consultant services based on experience that has a unique, specific level of
technical value. Capable of supporting teams complex technical or programmatic issues.
Required Skills:

  • High customer interface with customer as well as Prime Contractor and all other elements in MDA.
  • In-depth knowledge of GMD Pre-Mission Testing (PMT) prior to conduct of a Flight Test.
  • Monitor and provide direct assistance on hot or short suspense items to ensure actions are being
    worked in a timely manner
  • Daily inputs to MDA Director's Update, weekly staff charts, Joint Integration Meetings, Technical
    Interchange Meetings, numerous briefings
  • Develop and maintain PMT schedules.
  • Review and provide comments on Flight and PMT documentation.
